Ibtikar recently concluded its transformative “Youth Business Coaches” program, which trained 10 young individuals in marketing and business coaching to support small businesses and entrepreneurs in the South West Bank of Palestine. The initiative aimed to foster economic growth and social innovation while empowering women and youth.
The program provided participants with essential skills to mentor and guide emerging projects, resulting in significant improvements for women-led small businesses. Participants shared their personal growth stories, including newfound confidence, entrepreneurial aspirations, and a deeper understanding of small business development.
The closing day celebrated the success of the program, with certificates distributed to the youth coaches. The event also highlighted international collaboration, as members of the French Consulate attended to support and acknowledge the program’s impact.
In addition to marking the end of the “Youth Business Coaches” program, the event also celebrated the launch of a new initiative aimed at enhancing the entrepreneurial scene in the southern West Bank. This new project will build on the success of its predecessor, further empowering young entrepreneurs and fostering sustainable economic development in the southern West Bank.
By building a foundation for sustained mentorship and innovation, the program has left a lasting legacy of empowerment, resilience, and economic development in Palestinian communities.
