The Empowering Palestinian Youth through Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship initiative supports Palestinian youth aged 18–35 in transforming innovative ideas into practical projects with the potential to create social and economic impact within their communities.
At the heart of the initiative is individual mentoring, providing participants with tailored guidance as they develop their ideas, assess their feasibility, and turn them into structured and actionable initiatives. Mentoring also supports participants in preparing professional project proposals, exploring potential funding pathways, and addressing challenges that may arise during planning and implementation.
The programme goes beyond developing an idea by providing practical support throughout the process. Participants receive constructive feedback, guidance in refining their projects, and support in building the confidence needed to present their ideas, make informed decisions, and move from planning towards implementation.
The initiative also helps participants expand their professional networks by connecting them with experienced professionals and potential supporters, creating opportunities for learning, collaboration, and further development.
By providing a safe, participatory, and supportive environment, the programme gives young people the space to explore their ideas, strengthen their skills, and develop initiatives that respond to needs within their communities.
The impact extends beyond the projects themselves. Being in an environment where young people can present their ideas, receive guidance, connect with the right people, and access relevant opportunities can play an important role in helping them recognise the potential of their ideas and take practical steps towards developing them.
For Palestinian youth, having an innovative idea is only one part of the journey. Access to the right guidance, networks, and supportive spaces can help turn that idea into something more concrete. Through this approach, the initiative strengthens young people’s confidence and ability to move from ideas to action, creating opportunities for meaningful social and economic impact within their communities.
