Inclusion Embraces Differences

Inclusion means standing with survivors in a way that respects their experiences and choices. Real support begins with listening, believing, and creating a safe space for those who have experienced bullying, blackmail, or digital harassment.

How Can We Support Someone Who Has Experienced Bullying, Blackmail, or Digital Harassment?

  • Validation: Clearly express belief and support without pressure or judgment.
  • Listening and Emotional Support: Listen calmly, avoid blame, and respect emotions.
  • Care for Mental Well-Being: Pay attention to emotional safety and signs of distress.
  • Removing Feelings of Guilt: Emphasize that responsibility lies with the abuser.
  • Simple and Clear Steps: Document evidence and seek help when the survivor is ready.
  • Continuous Follow-Up: Support does not end with reporting or procedures.
  • Empowerment and Regaining Control: Share digital safety guidance without pressure.
  • Community Support: Involve trusted people when the survivor chooses.
