From a simple training… to a growing business

Jumana Shakarneh, the owner of Jomana Accessories, began her journey with a big dream, but without a clear passion to guide her. At the beginning, she felt uncertain about the unknown and unsure of how to start or how to manage and develop her project. She didn’t know which path to take or where to begin.

At that stage, Jumana decided to join several trainings and workshops to explore herself and discover her passion. She moved between different experiences, searching for a field that truly reflected who she is. Among these experiences, a jewelry design course became the turning point in her journey. It was there that she discovered a passion she had never realized before. She felt connected to this field, and every piece she created reflected a part of her identity—finally finding the path she had been searching for.

In the beginning, every task was a challenge: organizing her products attractively, developing photography skills, learning how to design posts and videos, and consistently publishing on social media. With every attempt, she learned, improved, and gradually built her skills.

Through the Empowering Women – Led Enterprises implemented by Ibtikar, Jumana received specialized training and mentorship from coaches Asala and Qusai, who played a key role in guiding her to develop her skills in digital marketing, managing social media platforms, and creating creative content that reflects her brand identity. She learned how to plan her content, present her products in an engaging way, and reflect her passion and craftsmanship in her work.

Over time, Jumana began to see her efforts take shape. Her confidence grew, and she became more capable of managing her business, organizing her content, and communicating professionally with customers. Every small achievement brought her closer to her goal.

Her journey was not without challenges. At times, she felt discouraged and questioned whether her efforts would pay off. However, she chose to see every difficulty as an opportunity to grow and improve. Each challenge became a lesson in planning, photography, advertising, and customer communication, helping her build a stronger and more sustainable business.

As time passed, her work began to shine. Customers started engaging with her page, asking about her products, and demand for her pieces became tangible. With every success, her sense of pride grew stronger, bringing her closer to her vision: a sustainable business that reflects her personality, professionalism, and creativity, and leaves a meaningful impact on her community.
